Don Ross Kinnie Hoop and Jam Summer Basketball Camp will be holding its first edition from 5th to 17th July at the newly refurbished court at Ta’ l-Ibragg, St. Andrews, located opposite the Halland Hotel. Open for girls and boys from the ages of 6 to 15 years, the summer camp training sessions will be held in the mornings and evenings.
During the 12-day summer camp, young players will learn new basketball skills with Dan Tarlac, a coach from Belgrade specialising on Youth development, and Pierre Bartolo from the first division Scottish basketball federation league. There will also be demonstrations from Malta’s youth national basketball team players.
“The Kinnie Hoop and Jam Basketball Camp is an exciting event full of drills, games, prizes and all-star games. The camp will enable children, even beginners, to improve their basketball skills and enjoy the thrill of the game,” said Don Ross.
