Wands Cash and Carry will be displaying an interesting and varied array of Australian fine wines for wine lovers from 24 to 29 January 2005 at Qormi. This event is timed to coincide with Australia Week celebrations organised by the Maltese – Australian Chamber of Commerce and Culture in collaboration with the Australian High Commission.
“To the delight of our clients, we are making a series of special offers on selected Australian wines,” said Anthony Tabone, Managing Director of Wands Limited. “Wines on display include a range from the leading Australian producers such as Lindemans, Penfolds and Rosemount.”
A special Australian wine tasting session will be held on Saturday 29th January, from 10.30am to 1.00pm at Wands Cash and Carry. Clients will have the opportunity to sample a selection of Australian fine wines before making their purchases.
Wands Limited, distributors of Southcorp Wines in Malta will be collaborating with the Maltese – Australian Chamber of Commerce and Culture and the Australian High Commission in other events being held at St James Cavalier to mark Australia Week. Ms Maxime Cavey, Business Development Manager at Southcorp Wines Europe, will be coming to Malta purposely for these occasions.
“The wine events which Wands will be organizing aim to foster an Australian wine culture among Maltese wine lovers and the catering trade. Visitors will be able sample some of the fine wines from the Australian regions and discuss and compare the different wines and vintages,” said Mr. Tabone.
