Farsons adds Britvic Mixers to its portfolio 2/6/2008

Simonds Farsons Cisk plc has added a new brand to its soft drinks range – the Britvic mixers including Tonic Water, Bitter Lemon, Ginger Ale and Soda Water. They have a great taste that makes them the perfect mixer to any spirit. 

With 50 years of expertise and extensive research, the Britvic brand has produced the right range, taste and packaging that meet consumers’ needs across a variety of occasions and its name has become synonymous with quality. The Britvic mixers were launched in 1972, to complement its juice range. “Step into leading hotels, bars and restaurants in the UK and you are certain to come across the Britvic brand, which is held in very high esteem there by the trade and consumers alike,” said Mr Ray Grech, Chief Marketing Officer at Simonds Farsons Cisk plc. More recent innovations include the hugely successful J20 range of juice drinks which are also imported in Malta by the Farsons Group.

“The Britvic mixers will shake up the important mixer category and prompt bartenders and consumers to take a fresh look at mixed drinks,” said Ms Lara Micallef, Brand Executive at Simonds Farsons Cisk plc. “We felt the need to revive our mixers category with an innovated product that focused on consumers’ changing tastes.  The Britvic mixers taste great for those who prefer longer mixed drinks.”

The new Britvic mixers are available in 25cl returnable glass bottles while the Bitter Lemon and Tonic Water are also available in 50cl PET bottles.
