The Farsons Group once again renewed its call for blood donors on Friday, 27th March 2015 as part of its annual CSR initiatives. The invitation was also extended to the company’s neighbouring organisations.
The activity, organised in collaboration with the Mobile Blood Donation Unit, saw a good turnout with over 30 donors.
“This annual activity raises the level of awareness and solidarity felt by all employees in realising that their contribution to save lives by blood donation is a precious gift to human life,” commented Mr John J Attard, Employee Relations & Security Manager at Simonds Farsons Cisk plc. “We would like to thank all those who responded to this noble call, as well as the nursing and medical staff from the National Blood Transfusion Unit.”
