The Farsons Beer Festival is back for its 42nd edition at the National Park, Ta’ Qali

The Farsons Beer Festival 2024 is going back to its original location in Ta’ Qali for this year’s edition. The recently renovated National Park will be home to the festival this year which promises to be another great edition.

The 10-day festival, one of the most highly sought-after events of the summer, will be taking place from Thursday 25th July to Saturday 3rd August. As in previous years, entrance is once again free.

The festival offers a vast selection of award-winning beers, such as the Cisk range, the Farsons Classic Brews range, together with leading international brands including Carlsberg, Budweiser, Peroni and Corona, as well as local and international craft and speciality beers. Gluten-free and alcohol-free beers will be available together with an ever-popular range of ciders.

As always, a food court offers a variety of foods and cuisines to complement the selection of beers.

While the star of the festival is undoubtedly the beer, the Farsons Beer Festival has always been an important showcase for top local artists and bands. This year’s headliners for the Main Stage include opening act Aidan, as well as Shaun Farrugia, Ira Losco, Tribali, closing with The Travellers and many others.

Headlining for the Rock Stage will be BNI, Nomad Son, Kill the Action, Clubmurder, RUG and others.

Casa Electronica, an attraction in its own right in recent years, features some of Malta’s top DJs including Carlo Gerada, Ruby, DeezTwo, Debrii and Miss Roberta and more.

“This year we are happy to be returning to the location where previously the event had been held for a number of years prior to 2022. The Ta’ Qali National Park has been totally renovated and makes a gorgeous setting for the Farsons Beer Festival. We appeal to all our visitors to respect the park by caring for the environment and disposing of their waste responsibly,” said Mr Steve Borg, festival organizer.

Ms Susan Weenink Camilleri, Head of Sales and Marketing at Simonds Farsons Cisk plc, added, “We are very happy to be back at the beautifully renovated National Park. We, together with our suppliers, contractors, partners and performers have been exercising greatest care and attention throughout the set-up process and when dismantling, as well as during the festival itself to ensure we treat this wonderful location with the utmost respect that it deserves. We strongly encourage and appeal to the general public to similarly show the same sense of respect and responsibility whilst enjoying themselves throughout the festival evening.”
