The original lemon-lime beverage celebrates its heritage with limited edition Vintage Series
#SINCE1929 – Celebrating a creative heritage that has spanned 88 years, 7UP® recently unveiled the 7UP Vintage Series – a commemorative collection of six limited-edition designs inspired by the brand’s logos and artwork from past decades, from the 1930s to 1990s.
Since first created in 1929, 7UP has been the original, lemon-lime beverage consumers have come to love for its uniqueness and delicious, refreshing taste. Created by the PepsiCo Design & Innovation Centre in New York City, the 7UP Vintage Series features historic 7UP artwork that displays the unmistakable authenticity of 7UP and its branded history decorated by the designs of its times.
In Malta, the 7UP Vintage Series is available in 500ml and 1.5Ltr bottles for a limited-time only in stores nationwide. Additionally, consumers are given a limited-edition 7UP Vintage Series collectible glass with every 1.5 litre 7UP or 7UP Free six-pack purchased. There are 4 glasses to collect and offer is available in stores until stocks last.
“Throughout the ideation and creation of the 7UP Vintage Series, it was paramount to maintain the brand’s authentic, original history and showcase this through design – literally making each design its own work of art and storytelling vehicle,” said Mauro Porcini, Senior Vice President, Chief Design Officer, PepsiCo. “Inspired by the brand’s creative heritage, it seemed fitting to dedicate each artwork to a decade in time to remind consumers of its longstanding history since 1929.”
The 7UP Vintage Series is part of the brand’s global multi-channel “Feels Good to Be You” campaign and rejuvenated visual identity, including logo design and packaging.
