The highly anticipated annual meeting for Farsons Group management was held online this year, featuring special guest Mr Martin Scicluna, Chairman of J Sainsbury’s plc and RSA Insurance plc. A much-respected businessman of Maltese origin but residing in the UK, Mr Scicluna was awarded the FTSE 100 Non-Executive Director of the Year 2018 among many other prestigious appointments, roles and accolades.

Focusing on key lessons learnt from business, from leadership and from personal experience, Mr Scicluna shared invaluable insight and advice. He also shared his views about the future and the importance of resilience, agility, open communication and values.

After taking questions from the audience, including ones regarding his views about how a post COVID 19 world would emerge from the pandemic and how trust and confidence can be restored by businesses with employees and consumers given the state of the world economy. Mr Scicluna was presented with a commemorative gift and an invitation to visit the Farsons Brewery on his next trip to Malta.
