Farsons Group employees have once again supported Puttinu Cares in two separate events, a 5-a-side Football Tournament and a Commercial Truck Fest 2018, both held on Saturday 24th November.

An eagerly anticipated annual 5-a-side football tournament, organised by the Farsons HR team, was held at Hibernians Nursery Grounds, and saw 8 teams of 10 employees each from various sections within the Group battling for the title.

In the second event, a number of delivery drivers participated in the annual Commercial Truck Fest 2018 deploying 7 brand new trucks for this activity. Participation in this event, organised for the fifth consecutive year in memory of Mark Gauci, a Maltese driver who passed away in a fatal traffic accident, was on the initiative of one of the company’s delivery persons.

“Events such as these strengthen our employees’ commitment to the values of teamwork, respect, integrity and solidarity with those in need,” commented Mr Tonio Mifsud Bonnici, HR Services Manager. “We thank all the participants and their families who were present for both events.”
