It’s always the luck of the Irish when St. Patrick’s Day falls on a weekend and 2019 was exactly that. Nestled in the iconic Pjazza Victoria in Valletta, St Patrick’s Day was celebrated in a family-friendly atmosphere.
Every festival worth its salt needs to have a little jig and Kersten Graham, The Busker and Gianni & Papps provided the perfect musical atmosphere to get the attendees moving. The event, hosted by DJs Oz & Jay, also saw the participation of South Belfast School of Irish Dancing who showcased their talents and provided an interesting insight into the traditional Irish celebrations.
Of course, St Patrick’s Day wouldn’t be complete without the iconic Irish brands Guinness and Jameson Irish Whisky who set up shop along Old Theatre Street proudly exhibiting their heritage.
All in all, it was a great celebration enjoyed by friends and families in a relaxed fun atmosphere which is what St Patrick’s Day is all about!
Guinness and Jameson Irish Whisky are imported, marketed and distributed in Malta by Farsons Beverage Imports Company Limited, a member of the Farsons Group.
