Mr Josef Formosa Gauci has been appointed General Manager of Trident Developments Limited, a subsidiary company within the Farsons Group. Trident Developments Ltd’s main role is to manage the Group’s immovable assets, including the purchase, sale, development and administration of property according the business requirements.

Mr Formosa Gauci, an Economics Graduate from the University of Nottingham in England, has joined the Farsons Group from Galaxy Holiday Resorts Limited where he occupied the post of General Manager, Company Secretary and Financial Controller. He also has extensive experience as an auditor having worked in London, Rome and Malta with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

As Farsons continues to develop and grow, so the Group’s requirements in terms of property also change. The complex task of purchasing, selling, developing and administering Farsons’s immovable assets, including the leasing of property to third parties, requires the focused attention of an experienced and capable individual. Mr Formosa Gauci will without doubt prove to be an excellent General Manager of Trident Developments Limited,” said Mr Louis A. Farrugia, Group Chief Executive at the Farsons Group.

Apart from his professional track record, Mr Formosa Gauci has held a number of posts with various professional associations, including the Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and of the Malta Institute of Accountants.
