Pizza Hut has just opened its fifth franchised restaurant in the tourist hotspot Bugibba. Food Chain (Holdings) Limited, a subsidiary of Simonds Farsons Cisk plc, operates the Pizza Hut franchise in Malta since 1993. This opening, the first one in Northern Malta, underlines Pizza Hut’s successful growth strategy in Malta.
The new diner is located in the main square of Bugibba facing the panoramic view of St Paul’s Islands and close to the shopping centre. Although in summer the beach resort is bursting with tourists and locals, it is relatively tranquil during the winter months, making parking in the vicinity much easier.
“Furnished with a completely new décor giving the restaurant a more relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, Pizza Hut is the family pizza place at an affordable price,” said Stefania Conte, Food Chain Holdings General Manager.
“Pizza Hut is now becoming a strong player in casual dining and caters especially for families and friends who want the best pizza value. Moreover, 2005 will bring in new innovative great value deals for our esteemed customers. It will be always an exciting experience dining in at any of our Pizza Hut outlets, where one can share our world-renowned pizzas with friends and families,” said Ms Conte.
Diners wishing to celebrate a special occasion or a birthday with family or friends will find the new Pizza Hut at Bugibba, the ideal place to meet and share a meal.
“Our menu is varied and apart from the many different great-tasting pizzas, it includes a variety of starters, pastas and delicious desserts. There is something for everyone,” said Marco Debono, Marketing Executive at Pizza Hut, Malta. “We offer classic pizzas with a light crispy dough base, baked in the traditional Italian style, the pan pizzas which are the favourite thick crust pizzas and the cheesy crust that comes with a hint of butter and garlic and stuffed with cheese. Clients can also create their own pizza or add their favourite meat, vegetable or fruit toppings.”
Pizza Hut has always been the leader in offering a variety of the freshest and best-tasting salads to suit customers’ tastes. The salad bar is regularly changed with fresh crispy vegetables and greens and a choice of salad dressing.
“Balancing a delicious pizza with a great tasting salad is a fresh solution that compliments our value deals for various tables of one or two persons, family, and sharing with friends,” added Mr. Debono. Apart from pizzas, salads are also available for take-away.
Pizza Hut at Bugibba has also a great terrace and the overall area can accommodate more than 120 diners. It will be run by the Restaurant Manager Rita Falzon, who has been previously managing the Pizza Hut outlet in St.Julians.
To celebrate this occasion and the festive season, Pizza Hut is offering two Christmas specials apart from the regular menu. These are the new delicious Wishing Star Pizza which is lavishly topped with turkey, fresh green, yellow and red peppers on a wine and prune base sauce, and sprinkled with crunchy almond flakes. For a mouthwatering desert, Pizza Hut is now offering the Christmas Duetto, a light steamed fruity pudding.
Apart from the Bugibba restaurant, these Christmas specials are also available at Pizza Hut in Sliema, St. Julians, Valletta and at Galleria Shopping Complex in Fgura.
