Fifty more free flights to be won
Joseph Micallef from Siggiewi is the proud winner of the first Kinnie summer promotion held in collaboration with Emirates, the Dubai-based international airline. The promotion ran during the Malta International Trade Fair held in July. Mr Micallef won a return air ticket with Emirates to one of the exotic destinations of his choice which includes the spectacular islands of the Maldives, Mauritius and the Seychelles.
With every purchase of Kinnie or Diet Kinnie from the Farsons bar at the Trade Fair, consumers were given a lottery ticket to deposit at the Kinnie stand.
“Kinnie consumers still have a chance to win one of 50 free flights on Emirates airline. This initiative by Kinnie and Emirates is already attracting a huge number of participants, all eager to visit Dubai or one of the hotspots of Emirates’ destinations,” said Lara Micallef, Kinnie Brand Executive.
Kinnie and Emirates are currently running a national promotion. With just 6 Kinnie or Diet Kinnie litre bottle caps, consumers have the great chance to win one of the 50 Emirates free flights. Winners can choose from a range of nine cities such as Dubai, Larnaca, Seychelles, Mauritius, Maldives, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
Participants can send their entries together with their name and address to Kinnie Emirates Summer Promotion, P.O. Box 97, B’Kara. Alternatively, consumers can exchange the Kinnie caps with lottery tickets at Farsons Gift Shop, Freedom Square, Valletta (Monday to Friday 9.00am to 12.00 noon). The draws will be held on 29 July and 30 September 2005.
The Kinnie Emirates summer promotion is also extended for patrons visiting the 25th edition of The Farsons Great Beer Festival which is being held between 22nd to 31st July 2005 at Ta’ Qali Park. Consumers who purchase a large Kinnie or Diet Kinnie will receive a lottery ticket to participate in a draw to win a flight to an exotic destination. The winner will be announced at the end of the Festival.
