More singers will perform at the 25th edition of The Farsons Great Beer Festival tonight. Some of the best Maltese talent continues to liven up the evenings to fully meet the expectations of the festival’s ever growing public.

The festival opens tonight with the participation of Christabelle & Dancers on the Main Stage followed by the group of female singers from Xarabank, Not just any other Friday.  The Rock Stage @ World Beers Area will feature the bands Drunken Munky and Mindstate.  Both stages commence at around 9.00pm.

Ivan Filletti, Marketing Manager at Simonds Farsons Cisk plc, said: “Throughout the past  years, the festival has been a good opportunity for our local artists to show off their talents in front of a large appreciative audience.”

Since its inception, many leading singers and groups have appeared on the stages of The Farsons Great Beer Festival. Over the years, the event quickly grew to cater for the increasing number of promising young talent and established musicians and singers,” continued Ivan Filletti.

On Friday, the festival will feature Kristina Casolani, Ozzy Lino, Ivan Spiteri Lucas on the Main Stage and Chris & Moira and Ivan Filletti on the Rock Stage @ World Beers Area. The Young Talent Team will open the Saturday performances on the Main Stage, followed by Freddie Portelli.  Corkskrew and Ira Losco will perform on the Rock Stage which is hosted by Bay Radio and Rookies.

With every purchase of Kinnie or Diet Kinnie from the bars at the festival, consumers can participate in the Kinnie – Emirates summer promotion to win a flight to an exotic destination.  The draw will be held at the end of the Festival.
