Wands Limited is hosting an Australian Wine promotion at its Cash and Carry in Marsa as from Monday 23 to Saturday 28 January 2006 as part of Australia Week celebration in Malta.

Throughout the week, Wands is offering special offers on some of the best range of Australian wines, such as Penfolds, Jacob’s Creek, Rosemount, Lindemans and Wyndam Estate.

A casual wine tasting session will be held on Saturday 28th January, from 10.30am to 1.00pm at Wands Cash and Carry. Visitors will have the opportunity to sample a selection of fine wines produced by downunder leading wine producers before making their purchases.

“This week we are celebrating a truly full experience of Australian wines from some of the prestigious houses. At Wands we always endeavour to foster culture and appreciation of wines amongst Maltese wine lovers and the catering trade,” said David Micallef St.John, Wine Manager at Wands.

Australia Week is being celebrated at St James Cavalier Centre of Creativity in Valletta with a host of activities. The event is organised by the Maltese - Australian Chamber of Commerce and Culture in collaboration with the Australian High Commission and it opens on Sunday 22 January and runs till Sunday 29 January 2006.
