Supporters encouraging the Malta team in Brussels

Maltese supporters cheered on the Maltese National Rugby team last Saturday as they arrived at the world renowned Delirium Cafe in Brussels. World-famous for its record-breaking selection of over 2,500 international beers, Farson’s Cisk Lager range proved to be the preferred brand on this particular occasion.

As the National team's main sponsor, the players and supporters were able to enjoy Cisk Lager for post-match drinks which kept the team in high spirits despite just missing out on progressing into the European Division 1A. Supporters felt that the Maltese side showed true grit in their performance against the more experienced Belgians and that the final result did not do justice to the team’s gallant showing on the field.

Commenting on the events of the night one supporter said, “The Cisk Lager Night at the Delirium was out of this world – a real blast. Hanging out with the players was surreal and they are as great off the pitch as they are on it! Cisk flowed in abundance giving the whole get-together a genuine Maltese flavour and feel-good boost to the team.”
