Burger King has struck a deal with AEGEE-Valletta, the local budding student organisation at the University of Malta, whereby it will be supporting the bi-annual General Network Meeting (AGORA) that will be held in Malta between the 26th and 29th April 2007. 600 AEGEEans will be meeting at the University of Malta to debate several interesting topics related to AEGEE and its role within the European student community. AEGEE is represented in 260 academic cities spanned around 40 countries.
"We are extremely pleased to be able to give a helping hand to AEGEE on this mammoth project," commented Ms Stefania Conte, General Manager for Food Chain (Holdings) Limited, licensed operator of Burger King in Malta. Whilst auguring AEGEE success for the conference preparations, Ms Conte noted the hard work and determination of the organising committee in getting the job done as professionally as possible. AEGEE-Valletta has successfully managed to bid and eventually win the hosting status of the biggest event possible that can be held within the AEGEE network.
On behalf of AEGEE-Valletta, Mr. Johann Schembri, President of the local branch thanked Burger King franchise for its continuous support.
