T.G.I. Friday's customers do not have to travel far to savor the best that New York has to offer, having launched a new Taste of New York summer menu promotion, dishing out the best of New York signature cuisine. The promotion runs until the end of September.

The city of New York is a melting pot of cultures, people, food and fun. From the art-packed galleries that line the Soho district to the crisp vegetables that quietly wait in Chinatown's market, the city pulses with the sights, sounds and tastes of nearly every culture in the world. New York is also where the first T.G.I. Friday's opened its doors more than 40 years ago.

“Our menu offers a window into the most famous city in the world,” said Mr Jonathan Apap, Restaurant Manager at T.G.I. Friday's, Malta. “Even if our customers cannot visit New York in person, we believe they will enjoy a taste of the unique foods that have satisfied New Yorkers their entire lives.”

The Taste of New York menu includes three dishes: Soho Asian Nachos, Chinatown Imperial Ribs and the Wall Street Peppercorn Strip. Soho Asian Nachos are crisp tortilla chips layered with hoisin BBQ sauce and charbroiled chicken, topped with melted Monterey Jack cheese, sliced green onions and spicy chilli sauce, served with Asian slaw. Chinatown Imperial Ribs are marinated baby back ribs, grilled and basted with sweet hoison BBQ sauce, sprinkled with a sesame seed and red pepper mix, sliced green onions and served with Cajun onion rings and Asian slaw. The Wall Street Peppercorn Strip is a tender strip steak seasoned with cracked peppercorns and topped with frizzled onions, served with a rich demi-glace and cheddar cheese mashed potatoes.
