An open day was recently organised by the local operator for leading food franchises Pizza Hut, T.G.I. Friday’s, Burger King and KFC, in Malta to recruit more dedicated and enthusiastic people to work for summer and beyond.
“Working for great food franchises like ours make it an exciting place to work in, as well as safe and enjoyable,” commented Ms Nathalie Xuereb Saydon, Assistant Restaurant Operations Manager who was responsible for the open day, held last, together with Ms. Alexis Delmar, Human Resources Administrator.
The recruitment drive, which will increase the total existing workforce for summer up to 600 crew members, offered various opportunities for Maltese to work in different areas of the restaurant operation, including back-of-house, front-of-house and bikers for deliveries.
Applicants attending the open-day were greeted by Restaurant Managers and were given an overview of the operations and vacancies available. All recruits have to go through a detailed training programme before they start working inside the restaurant. The training programme covers all major aspects, including safety regulations, health and hygiene aspects, customer care and brand policies. Each recruit will be monitored by the respective Unit Manager and guidance and assistance will be provided throughout all working hours.
“We invest in employee welfare because we believe in its positive effects on our fast-moving, demanding and continuously evolving business,” explained Ms Alexis Delmar, Human Resources Administrator for Food Chain (Holdings) Limited. “We are always on the lookout for people who enjoy serving customers with a smile and delivering our brand message, leaving a positive impact on our esteemed customers,” she explained further.
