Cisk Premium Lager is one of the main sponsors of this year’s GreenPak Earth Garden Festival – a green festival for all the family. The open air festival, which is also supported by Budweiser, Bacardi, Pepsi, Kinnie Zest and Jacob's Creek, will be held at Ta’ Qali National Park on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May 2009.
Apart from going greener to further strengthen its environmental roots, GreenPak Earth Garden will also be providing a platform for artists. The festival will host the MTV Mobile Open Village which will be on a free entrance basis, and a music concert on Saturday at the Cisk Export Greek Theatre, with admission tickets available for the event.
The MTV Mobile Open Village promises to be a hub for activity and creativity. This main area hosts a children’s section, the Echo Fest, the Festive Groove and a new area titled Wine, Art and Jazz. Music at the Wine, Art and Jazz will be provided by The Big Band Brothers, a 15-piece band of brass musicians, a pianist, bass guitarist and percussionist.
The Music Concert will see the return of Tribali to the Cisk Export Greek Theatre on Saturday. Tribali will be featuring their long-awaited second release “The Elephants of Lanka”. Considering the popularity of Tribali, their recent absence from the stage, and the limited capacity of the Cisk Export Greek Theatre, this concert is expected to be a sold out event.
Tickets at €15 each for the Music Concert at the Cisk Export Greek Theatre can be obtained from Farsonsdirect.com in Mriehel, Exit, Shu, 2-22 in Valletta, Café Jubilee in Gzira; Juuls in St Julians, Paperclips at University; Aw Tribu in Fgura; Babilon and Exit in Paola, Rookies in Bugibba and Arkadia, Gozo.
