Watch all the 64 World Cup matches in High Definition (HD) television at all Burger King outlets. Burger King has teamed up with Melita for all customers to enjoy watching matches in High Definition while entering the chance to win great prizes.
By purchasing a large meal at Burger King until 15th June 2010, customers get the chance to win fantastic prizes including Grundig 32” LCD televisions sets, 2-year free rental on Melita Netbox HD set top boxes, Melita Sports upgrades and Melita Movies & More upgrades (DPL 23/2010).
A draw will take place on Wednesday, 16th June at 12:30hrs at the Burger King outlet in Valletta to announce the lucky winners.
Melita have launched their HD television service in May, officially becoming the first operator to offer high definition television to Maltese and Gozitan families. Every action in South Africa will spring to life on HD television sets on TVM HD with English commentary and with Italian commentary for matches played by the Italian national team.
Melita is also offering 10 new HD channels which are being added for free to the XL channel line-up. Channels include Discovery HD Showcase, Nat Geo HD, Nat Geo Wild HD, Rush HD, iConcerts HD, Eurosport HD, History HD, Luxe TV HD, FTV HD and MTVN HD.
Melita is offering FREE installation of the new Melita Netbox HD and for those who subscribe by the end of June 2010, no monthly rental fee for the set top box (€10 a month) until 1st October 2010 and free use of an existing digital set-top box on another television set until 31st December 2010.
