Reference is made to the Company Announcement issued on 19th June 2009, wherein it was announced that Norman Aquilina would assume the role of CEO Designate with effect from 1st July 2009.

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Norman Aquilina will be appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Simonds Farsons Cisk plc with effect from 1 July 2010, upon which Louis Farrugia, the current CEO, will relinquish responsibilities for the day to day running of the Group after 31 years in office.  The Board has expressed its sincere appreciation for the many years of dedicated service and huge commitment that Mr Farrugia has given to the Group, and for the successes and progress achieved under his able stewardship.

Going forward, Louis Farrugia will continue in his role as the Executive Chairman of the Group Executive Board. In this position, he will work (through the CEO) in an oversight role, and will take an active part in the determination of strategies for the Group. He will continue as a main Board director, and as CEO of Trident Developments Limited, the subsidiary that holds most of the Group’s real estate assets.  He will also retain responsibility for the oversight of the New Brewhouse project. This project was approved by the Board in February 2010, and will involve a capital investment totaling €14 million.  Mr Bryan Gera will continue in his responsibilities as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The Board congratulated Norman Aquilina on his appointment as CEO, and extended to him every good wish for success in this role.

No matter concerning Mr Aquilina requires disclosure under Listing Rules 8.16.3 to 8.16.8.
