Walkers have recently launched a new premium crisp brand, Red Sky celebrating nature through packaging, taste and ingredients. The crisps, made from 100% natural ingredients, are cooked in a unique way to produce a fresher-tasting product with the ‘perfect crunch’. In fact the crisps have a thicker cut which makes them stand out from the other crisps.
The Red Sky brand has been developed to attract older, more affluent customers and the packages are available in different sizes and flavours. Red Sky Anglesey Sea Salt and Red Sky Cheddar & Onion are available in single serve packets of 40gr each while Red Sky Salt & Cracked Peppercorn, Red Sky Salt and Vinegar and Red Sky West Country Bacon are available in packets of 150gr each.
Red Sky has originated from the saying 'Red Sky at night...' which is nature's promise for a good day to follow and the brand’s packaging is mostly sourced from forests accredited by the Forest Stewardship Council. Each Red Sky pack also carries a pledge to preserve an area of rainforest, with PepsiCo working with environmental charity Cool Earth to achieve this.
