Australian rock and roll band, Roc-A-Tac will be the headlining act of the Main Stage tonight, the opening night of this year’s edition of The Farsons Great Beer Festival. The festival runs until Sunday, 31st July and opens at 8pm each night. The main sponsor of this year’s edition is Vodafone, entrance is free.
Roc-A-Tac was formed in 2000 and over this small period they have gained an impressive following for all their performances. Attending one of their shows is like stepping back to the 50s and 60s with most of their fans coming dressed in their rock and roll outfits ready to dance the night away. They have gained a reputation of being party makers by playing all rock music from Rockabilly, Country Rock, and Rhythm and Blues and having fun while they entertain the crowd.
Hugely popular down under, the band is the winner of the People’s Choice Award for Sydney’s Best Rock and Roll Bands, and they have played across all of Australia, receiving great reviews from venues.
Roc-A-Tac will be giving a repeat performance on Tuesday, 26th July.
The entertainment tonight opens with Siconix & Minik, followed by Charles Camilleri and Roc-A-Tac on the Main Stage. The Rock Stage opens with the first Rock the Fest competition winners, Bridget Bone, followed by Red Electrick.
