The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Mrs. Antoinette Caruana has been appointed Company Secretary of Simonds Farsons Cisk plc with effect from 1st September, 2011.

Ms Caruana, M.Sc. HRM, B.A. (Hons.) Business Management, F.C.I.P.D., has occupied the post of Farsons Group Human Resources Manager since 1st July 2009 and is also a member of the Farsons Group Executive Board, chaired by Mr Louis A. Farrugia, the Chairman of Simonds Farsons Cisk plc.

Her other interests include involvement at the Chamber of Commerce as well as a trustee of the Richmond Foundation.  She is currently a Director of the Central Bank of Malta and also serves as Employers’ Representative on the Industrial Tribunal.

In terms of Listing Rule 5.20.2 there is no matter to be disclosed. Furthermore, no matter concerning Mrs. Caruana requires disclosure under Listing Rules 5.20.5 to 5.20.9.
