The Board of Directors hereby announces that since the publication, on 28 September 2011, of its condensed interim financial information for the six months ended 31 July 2011, no material events and/or transactions have taken place that would have an impact on the financial position of the Holding Company and its controlled undertakings, such that they would require specific mention, disclosure or announcement pursuant to the applicable Listing Rules.

In spite of the highly intense and competitive market the group operates in, the overall performance in the third quarter ending 31 October 2011 was satisfactory. Group turnover continues to increase over the corresponding period last year across all segments.

Works on the investment programme relating to the new brewhouse are progressing on schedule with the plant anticipated to be operational by summer 2012.

The Directors expect that the Group’s performance for the current financial year should result in a further improvement in profitability over those for the financial year ended January 2011.  The group maintained a healthy cash generation and its indebtedness position continues to remain stable.
