San Michel has once again been confirmed as the official water for Malta’s largest and most followed athletic activity, the Land Rover Malta Marathon which will this year take place on Sunday, 24th February. The race starts in Mdina and ends at the Sliema Ferries.

To mark this popular event, a limited edition label has been launched for the San Michel 50cl bottle, using graphics which are instantly recognisable through the use of different coloured runners in silhouette.

“This special edition label reinforces the strong association between San Michel and the Malta Marathon. We are proud to have been involved with the marathon for several years and have seen it grow to the popular sporting event it is today,” said Ms Karen Scicluna Calleja, Brand Executive for San Michel.

This year’s marathon will once again see a record number of participants and more significantly a substantial increase in Maltese participants. The general public is encouraged to support the runners along the route and cheer them at the finish line.
