Elayne Cuschieri who will be representing Malta in the Havana Club Gap Year competition at the end of this month

Elayne Cuschieri will be the Maltese representative in the Havana Club Gap Year Competition being held in Havana, Cuba at the end of April and could very well be the lucky winner of an incredible journey.

Cuban rum maker Havana Club has been searching for a curious and open-minded person to embark on a year-long trip around the world. The winner of the Havana Club Gap Year contest will visit 12 countries and live 12 unforgettable experiences.

By winning the local Havana Club Gap Year Competition run on Facebook earlier this year, Elayne is one step closer to making this dream a reality. 

While representing Malta in the international final in Havana, Elayne will get the chance to soak up Havana’s incomparable way of life and discover the unique spirit of a country renowned for its  music, beaches, dancing, laid-back lifestyle, cigars and, last but not least, Havana Club Mojitos.
