Jura Prophecy – the most heavily peated malt in the Jura range – has been awarded gold ‘Best in Class’ medal at this year’s prestigious International Spirit Challenge.
The experienced panel of specialist judges, who tasted over 1000 entries from across the globe, also awarded gold medals to the already widely praised Whyte & Mackay 30 years old, The Dalmore Ceti and Glayva liqueur.
And the awards don’t stop there, as over in America at the Beverage Testing Institute awards, the recently released Jura 30 years old and 1977 were both awarded platinum medals, with scores of 97/100 and 99/100 respectively.
Richard Paterson, Master Distiller commented: ‘To be awarded platinum and best in class medals at these two highly respected and influential spirits competitions is really a great achievement for the company and all those people who work tirelessly to create and promote these very special products.’
Jura whisky is imported, marketed and distributed by Farsons Beverage Imports Company Limited (FBIC), a member of the Farsons Group.
