Baladin has been voted ‘Brewery of the Year 2017’ by the international jury of the ‘Birra dell’Anno’ competition organised by Unionbirrai.
This recent award was communicated by Baladin with pride as this important accomplishment is the result of the work of a great group committed to transmitting a philosophy of thought as well as the support of the visionary dimension of its founder, Teo Musso.
This is an achievement obtained in a very special moment of the history of a brewery that has recently moved to a new production plant where the gold medal winner Nazionale Beer has seen the light.
Teo Musso, founder of Baladin Brewery, commented “I am just so happy, especially for the gold medal awarded to the Nazionale. I have been working for ten years at the project of a beer that is 100% Italian.”
Unionbirrai is a cultural association whose aim is to promote the culture of craft beer in Italy. Started in 2000, the association has evolved over the years, with the changing trends, to become today an association that seeks dialogue with manufacturers, tasters, merchants and consumers. Unionbirrai is a member of the European Beer Consumers Union (EBCU).
A selection of beers from the Baladin range, including gold medal winner Nazionale, are available in Malta, imported, marketed and distributed by Farsons Beverage Imports Company (FBIC) Limited, a member of the Farsons Group.
