A Christmas Concert by the St Paul Metropolitan Orchestra was recently organised for Farsons Group employees and their families. The concert, held at the Metropolitan Cathedral in Mdina, was hosted by the Chairman of the Group, Mr Louis A. Farrugia and his wife Mrs Monica Farrugia. This was followed by festive refreshments and a viewing of the Mdina Metropolitan Cathedral Museum.
In his address, Mr Farrugia noted, “This is a unique occasion organised to close off our celebrations marking the 90th anniversary of brewing last year and the 90th anniversary of CISK this year. We are celebrating the vision and determination of those who came before us and sustained by all those who today work for Farsons with passion, commitment and competence. Indeed, it is right and appropriate that today we celebrate the closure of these anniversaries with our families at a very special time of the year and in this magnificent cathedral.”
Mr Farrugia also focused on how important it is for Farsons to have values of success, teamwork, respect, integrity and high-quality standards.
He thanked the Mdina Metropolitan Chapter for their professional support, the St Paul Metropolitan Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Mark Agius, the choir and soloists as well as the Farsons organising team.
