Farsons recently hosted three beer training sessions for approximately 50 Institute of Tourism Studies students at its Brewery in Mriehel.
Conducted by Mr Karl Bondin, Brand Manager – Beers at Farsons, the sessions, held at the Farsons brewhouse, explained the history of beers in Malta as well as Farsons’ story of brewing together with the brewing ingredients and the brewing process. This was followed by the different categories of beers and how beer should be maintained and served.
“Witnessing first-hand the dedication and passion of our brewers brewing award-winning beers at their place of work will certainly be beneficial for these students’ future development and sense of pride when serving local beer. They represent, after all, the future of the local hospitality industry,” commented Mr Bondin.
Farsons Brewery has a strong portfolio of award-winning beers that includes the Cisk range: Cisk Lager, Cisk Excel, Cisk Pilsner, Cisk Export, Cisk Chill and Cisk Strong, as well as the Farsons Classic Brews range: Blue Label Amber Ale, Double Red Strong Ale, Farsons India Pale Ale and the recently launched Gold Label Pale Ale, to mark the company’s 90 years of brewing in Malta.
