Quintano Foods Ltd, a subsidiary of the Farsons Group and a leader in the marketing and distribution of branded food products, including Danone, Tropicana, Quaker, Walkers, Bayernland, Ribena, Ocean Spray, Calve’, Cooperlat and Mevgal in its strong portfolio, has recently appointed Sean Portelli as Business Manager.
Working closely with and reporting to the Group Head of Food Business, Mr John Bonello Ghio, Sean will be contributing to the strategic development of the business. He will be leading and coordinating the implementation of key initiatives and development programmes whilst assuming responsibility for the daily operations of the company. “In his new role, Sean will lead and support the committed team at Quintano Foods, as well as contributing to the growth of this important sector of the Farsons Group’s portfolio. This appointment is another step in the Group’s vision to give added focus to the entire food portfolio besides the ongoing drive to strengthen its beverage portfolio,” said Mr Bonello Ghio. “Sean’s experience in sales and marketing as well as in business development place him in a good position to take on this challenging role as together with our teams, we continue to contribute to the growth strategy for this sector and strive to achieve the desired results.”

Mr Sean Portelli is a graduate of the University of Malta and has also been awarded a degree at executive masters’ level in business administration. He has worked in sales and marketing with local companies. Sean has led business restructuring projects aimed at enhancing business performance and worked with partners both locally and internationally.
