In what has now become an annual appointment, Farsons has once again dedicated a week to promoting positive health, physical activity and mental wellbeing to all employees across its Group.
Organised between 23rd and 27th October 2017, Change4Life includes various informative presentations with subjects ranging from women’s health to child parenting, the power of positive thinking, as well as techniques on reducing work stress through mindfulness. The week of activities also includes chair massage therapy sessions, early morning yoga warm up and breathing, daily provision of healthy breakfasts and subsidies on any healthy meals ordered from the company canteen.
“We work hard to promote the general wellbeing of our workforce, and particularly, we emphasise and focus on mental health and optimizing minds to further support our employees to take on work challenges in a positive way,” commented Mr John Attard, Employee Relations and Security Manager at Farsons.
Funds collected from the healthy breakfasts and the chair massage therapy sessions are in aid of Puttinu Cares and Hospice Malta.
In addition, Farsons Group employees supported Pink October and Breast Cancer Awareness by wearing pink on Monday, 23rd October and collecting funds in aid of Hospice Malta.
